About Us

Sweet Like Honey

Honey and her grandchildren.

Who We are

A Family Following Jesus

Sweet Like Honey Devotions, founded by Dr. Catherine Groven, began as a heartfelt family devotional created for her own family—Paul, Catie-Claire, and Brendan—along with her extended family, including Honey (mom); siblings Cameron and wife Ashley, Cathlean and husband Matt, and Carlon and husband James, and Skye; and her beloved nieces and nephews: Caroline, Renner, Jillian, Camille, Jack, Preston, Payton, Paisleigh, Hayden, Joshua, John Brantley, and Carson.

As a lifelong educator, Dr. Groven is passionate about sharing the teachings and practical applications of Jesus with children and families, inspiring generations to grow in faith and follow Him together. She is blessed to partner in ministry and education consulting with her sister, Cathlean, who also serves as an invaluable best friend and source of encouragement.
